Medical Business Development

Peak Performance Compounding, Inc. is a startup specialty thermoplastic compounder in growth mode. Peak recently achieved ISO 13485:2016 and 9001:2015 Certifications and is looking to grow its sales portfolio with the addition of a Medical Business Development team member to focus on medical markets. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new medical business, developing and maintaining new business relationships all while continuing to identify new sales opportunities to expand revenue. This Medical Business Development candidate will be well organized and have high energy to succeed in a new business expansion role.

Sales Responsibilities:

Reports directly to the President

Develop an understanding of Peak sales process 

Heavy focus on prospecting in the medical industry

Develop and maintain sales pipeline

Produce weekly call reports with target number of customer contacts

Work closely with marketing and management teams to boost market presence in the medical field

Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.

Makes valuable recommendations to help improve efficiency and profitability based on market feedback

Ability to communicate effectively with Technical Manager to define customer requirements and specification.

Required skills:

Bachelor’s Degree

3-5 years of Medical sales experience (Established OEM relationships and Plastics experience a plus)

Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time

Strong computer skills (Excel, CRM software, etc.)

Strong Interpersonal Skills

Self-starter with the ability and drive to meet/exceed sale goals

Highly organized

Logical thinker


Business Development Manager will be given a compensation package that includes salary, commission, bonuses, 401K, health/dental/vision insurance, car stipend, and travel expenses.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay: Commission Pay

Experience: Sales: 3-5 years (Required)
